why is only the sub-forum reserved to log in ?

I wanted to share the discussion about Beatles with my work-colleague, and he can't access without register, while all other sub-forums are "open"

is it an omission or is it purposely ?

why must we login as a MK fan to view the only section non devoted to MK ?  :hmm ???

This is the way it has always been from day 1. I don't think there is a particular reason for it- just that no one has ever asked. If the other editors agree I can check the box to allow Guests read only access.
