I'd be happy to listen to "Border Reiver" as an opener again, so the last song will be "Piper To The End". They might think that the rather quiet "Going Home" isn't suitable as the show isn't all over then.

Border Reiver to use up, sorry justify John and Mike.

Brothers In Arms to end as I think Piper is just okay to finish a concert with but not a short set.  Also it will probably be better received by the Dylaners.

Opening song Cleaning My Gun, because of the veteran theme  :lol, it has cool first opening bars, and it would be a nice introduction for the new drummer, followed and directly linked with Why Aye Man!

Closing song is not so easy to say because I hope for a last song that is joined by Bob Dylan, to give him a first "unofficial" appearance on stage, before after the break he officially returns with his full band. So Knocking On Heaven's Door, or maybe... Precious Angel!

(Other songs I expect at MK's set are Hill Farmer's Blues, Romeo & Juliet, Marbletown, Brothers In Arms and So far Away.)

My heart always sinks when I see SFA once more on a set-list, but when I am actually at the concert, I really enjoy that song, because it is really uplifting, especially towards the end of the show.  I remember a number of us at the Bournemouth gig last year, arms around eachother, swaying and singing along in front of MK and it was a great moment.  He can actually be heard on the Simfy recording saying "Yeah, that's nice" - I like to think it was for us!    ;D

I do agree wholeheartedly.

What do you think - How big or slim are the chances to hear a brand new song?

well, pretty slim I am afraid...I think MK hates imagination of loads of crappy videos on YT...also, with this short set and very short tour it is pretty unlikely in my opinion... :-\ but it would be great of course...

IMHO it is more likely that MK is going to start a second successful career as a news anchorman.  :D

But it is a pity, because the new song would have the chance to develop during the tour. And maybe he wouldn't be satisfied with the way the song has been recorded already. Hmpf.

Only 4 concerts in 2002 yet we got the chance to hear 2 new songs so let's have some optimism!

Yes, and we got Pyroman and Long Highway before, too... But the crappy youtube video thing is a very strong argument... Sadly enough. Oh well, let's wait and listen!
