Hi there, British AMITers,

maybe you can help: In the epk, when Yon Two Crows starts, there are some beautiful (black and white) landscape pictures I immediately fell in love with. Is anyone of you able to tell me in which area these pictures were filmed? Scotland, Ireland? Mark talks about having worked on a farm in Northumberland, maybe it is that region? Very much appreciated!

It looks very like Northumberland, LE.   Beautiful part of England's north-country!   :)

Wow, thanks!

I love these landscapes. Been to Wales several times and like these green hills, mountains and sidled roads... And Northumberland looks nearly the same rural and clear scenery... Paradise...

No wonder MK is bound to write so great tunes with this region in mind!  :)

I need some help in vocabulary: When Mark talks about the O'Brian story of Haul Away and the superstition, he says "...it's quite a fr..... thing, you're about as strong as your weakest link"... What exactly is the word? Help very appreciated!  :)

I think he says "fragile thing" there. Love the story behind Haul Away. Totally changed my view on that song.
...Well, he's a big star now but I've been a fan of his for years. The way he sings and plays guitar still bring me to tears...

Did anybody notice about the Martin acoustic guitar? I never saw that one, looks like old, with parts of the paint erased...
You might get lucky, now and then

Dusty talked about a battered looking Martin when he reported "live" from the Hay-On-Wye broadcast some weeks/months ago...

hi i can confirm these black and white photos are from the  coquetdale area of northumberland, not far from rothbury. i've walked these hills (the cheviot hills) for the past 25 + years and the pictures are mostly instantly recognisable to me. some of the pics are taken near the road from, rothbury then alwinton to barrowburn.
one photo of a rock pool is just south of barrowburn, i used to swim there as a kid and used to take my own kids there too.
also some are take from the simonside hills looking north. but the river is definitely the river coquet.

Thank you Geordie_60!   That was beautiful, although a bit wild and woolly today!    :)    I noticed another video on that page of Coquetdale, but on a better day.
