Hey subsub74, Sorry for the late reply... Your Strat has been duly added to the list and I will email the articles to you soon. :wave
Just to add that all three of my MK's vary in weight, not sure whether any of mine have 'gun shots' to the neck pocket as yours has....

No problem, thanks a lot!
Let me know if you cannot email me.
It's great to know indeed that the weight varies and that mine is OK.
I would have expected such a big company as Fender to be able to ensure constancy in weight.
But it's OK, that's also part of the game and the "vintage" style.
I like a lot your "gun shots" image :-)
Well, I have to admit that mine is very "special". Not sure it adds value though...
Try the JMB Experience MFN pedal, it's amazing

Wood is a natural product and therefore naturally inconsistent,  especially in weight. :)

In a true dream come true, 10399 is now a signature series signature series. That having been said, I am again in the market for something I would feel more comfortable playing. If anyone spots a really low serial number let me know, I would be a player if the price is right...

Thanks! As I said, it was a dream come true. I was in the right place, at the right time near a venue. It was fantastic!

I upgraded mine with a set of handwound boutique pickups.

what do you think?

(pls don't judge my playing... I'm recovering from a 1 year shoulder tendonitis, and I've never been a good guitar player anyway)

A lower serial number means a more comfortable playable strat?

I'm still on the look out for one. Spotted one in my country which I hope I can purchase in december.

The one I had my eyes on has been sold. If anyone knows or sees one for sale; please let me know. I've been checking Ebay daily.
