MK statement about "Loudness War"
« on: September 22, 2014, 11:49:45 AM »
I came across a Danish article about the current trend in the music industry that makes music just sound loud by reducing dynamics. The HiFi-frontman had asked MK to make a statement about this.

Article in Danish:

Video in Danish with MK's concerned statements about what has gone wrong:

"My idea of heaven is a place where the Tyne meets the Delta, where folk music meets the blues."

Thanks for that.  True what they say.  I use Wavelab Lite to try and enhance the sound of some bootlegs and reading the wave pattern can sometimes tell me exactly how it sounds before listening to it!  Loudness is easy to add but near impossible to remove to my (little) knowledge.
