A number of silver pressed bootlegs have appeared on ebay.  Just search "Dire Straits bootlegs."  Also Mark Knopfler bootlegs.  A few very rare ones if collecting these is your thing.  Some far out prices; might sell some of mine if they fetch that sort of dosh.

One I noticed is from Milan 1992 (seller has 1982).  I wonder if it's the same recording already circulated as I haven't seen a pressed bootleg of this show before... :think

How do you know they are silver? There are many CDR that can be printed in colour by one side... We don't see here the silver surface.

Oh dear. Suhrly not!  ;D

It is probably one of the first guitars he made but it's neither pretty nor necessarily that good. Just maybe collectable but don't know why it would be worth that much. It was all a bit hit or miss at that time he says. Some came out very good and others not so much. He didnt know why at the time but he knows now.

According to the seller it was played by James Ralston in Tina Turner's 1988 world tour.

It's an acetate from 1979... Very rare, I was expecting a high price, maybe not that high, but...

These acetates are a beautiful item to collect.
