here it is but I am not sur if it is well accurate.

this TAB featuring in the french magazine "GUITARIST" from september 2004 shows it in Am shape with a capo at 1st fret (the song is in Bbm)

But live, Mark played it in Em shape with a capo at 6th fret like on this video from 2007 :

so not sure if this TAB is worth playing...

try this
http://www.e-chords.com/chords/mark-knopfler/postcards-from-paraguay
or
http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/m/mark_knopfler/postcards_from_paraguay_crd.htm ( and read he comments )

these tabs are also in Am shape, not in Em shape like Mark does. Would it mean that the studio version is played in Am shape with capo at 1st fret ? I doubt it

I think the best way to learn to play this song is to look at Mark's fingers. There are many live versions on YT with very good close ups on Mark's hand.

I think that chords progression is not difficult on this song. The more tricky is to get that right hand pattern with THAT thumb

Lol this was made by using my vintage tab, which I've made many many years ago.

You can also check out our cover, it's pretty accurate with live version of MK's part:

Thank you very much Jean and yontwocrows, glad you liked it. It was almost 2 years ago, time really flies.

The link works perfect on Chrome, although I strongly recommend try to pick up this particular tune by ear.
Just because there are this 'thumb thing' going, it's a huge pleasure to discover the whole thing by 10000 listenings.
