Isn't his website says you'll get 4 bonus tracks if you pre-order the album, rather than it will be released on 10 March?

I understand that if you preorder the album you will get that 4 tracks on 10 march as an advance, and that 4 tracks are not bonus, they are in the record.
You might get lucky, now and then

There already has been a song "irish Heartbeat" (Title track) on Van Morrison's album "Iris Heatbeat" in 1988 together with The Chieftains.

Is that song. This new record is a collection of his old songs but in duets format.

Exactly my thoughts! Could Van be this mysterious famous guy from Guy's forum he talked about?

Great song ( the entire Irish Heartbeat album with the Chieftains is one of mine favs. )
Can't wait for this release , will Mark do any vocals ( i guess with a duet it will) and how does his guitar playing fits in this version of the song?

Still the best LIVE cover of this song IMO is done by the man who introduced Dire Straits @ the Nelson Mandela gig in 1988 ".....with a tear in either eyes,,,, " by yes indeed Billy Connolly , wait until the Uilleann pipes marches in , this version will be hard to beat  :think

co-producers Don Was and Bob Rock are great mixing engineers themselves.
Although the album was recorded in his home town of Belfast and London in the United Kingdom over the last year, using a variety of musicians and fresh arrangements. .......Maybe the London part was done by Guy?

Guy made a quite hard comment about the mix of the song in which MK sings with Van Morrison, the second time I read that kind of comments about other colleagues work, first time was with the last Bap Kennedy record.

Yes you are right about that. Had forgotten that and it's not nice in both cases. It seems only BG is able to deliver superior stuff when it comes to mix and sound...
