Tobben i not understanded you reply.. sorry

I have never heard about several concerts being recorded for making one hour of TV or radio show. I know a lot of guys who are working for TV and radio channels, and they have never talked about recording several concerts to make one appearance on TV or radio. I dont think the artist would have agreed with that either..

Eric Clapton Baloise which is a composite of both November 13 & 14 gigs. But this is the only case I know about for TV broadcast.

Regarding radio only, the famous KBFH  "Brussels Affair" 1973 shows airplay by the Rolling Stones that mix both afternoon and evening show with part form Empire Pool gig as well.

How do we know that the footage for The Tube special is entirely from the July 10th show anyway? It's not mentioned anywhere in the broadcast and we don't have recordings of each Wembley show from that run to compare to. Could it be that a song or two was edited in from a different night?

This was my thought as well. I have The Tube broadcast on VHS tape (now pretty worn out due to the number of times I played along with it !) and I always thought it was cut strangely, with The Mans Too Strong being played after BIA, and before Going Home. (There are other changes in the order of the songs compared to the setlist as well).   They have either changed the order of the songs around for the broadcast, or compiled the show from 2 or 3 nights' recordings. Do we know for certain that Hank was there on 10th?

The songs order was altered to be in the same order than the BIA record.

I don't think the whole band wore the same t-shirts every nights so I would say it is a single concert recording.

Anyway, the alchemy video is from the 2 nights at the hamemrsmith (only solid rock is from the night before) and the video likes was from one performance...

to be more accurate, only the end of solid rock (Terry's drum break) is from the 22. All the rest of the AUDIO recording is from the 23. so it IS one performance

http://www.oneverybootleg.nl/230783.htm

as for the video, it seems that it's a comp of both nights. Years ago, someone pointed out that druing once upon a time microphones are not the same on close-ups than in large cuts

yes I wonder the same.
on the rare pics thread, Terry 82 posted pics from wembley with Mark wearing the cowboy shirt
of course he wored it for live aid at welbley stadium, but did he wera it the same day at wembley arena ?
I thought that his stage clothes for wembley nights were the same, i.e the light blue t-shirt like on TV brodacast, but it seems not :think

Well, sometimes they do.  Take a look at  'On The Night', recorded at Feyenoord Stadium, Rotterdam and Les Arenes, Nimes.  During both nights they wore the same clothing.  During some of the songs you'll see footage from both venues during one song.

They use what they call "stage cloths", used only for the shows. If they are video taping the shows, they will use the same cloths that will be washed and ironed after one show to be used the next day.

In fact, seems like that Mark in the major part of the Wembley nights used the blue t-shirt, and used jeans and dress pant (the one that he uses at 10th July) (i think that this was a dress pant, haha)

Maybe, gemms are found every day. Years ago I found by complete accident an audience recording of the Alchemy night, so knows what will surface next and when...

Well, quite a few of those Wembley shows are circulating.  We already have circulating the nights: 4th, 8th, 11th, 15th and 16th.  You never know!

The 13th would be interesting as it is the same day the did Live Aid in the afternoon.

Did he played at live aid concert before a full concert at might? ?

Yes, he played two songs at Live Aid, crossed the parking, entered the arena and played their own show.
