Thanks!    I'm seeing John with his band on 5th May.  It would be great if MK turned up there too!  Wishful thinking!

Congratulations to John McCusker who is to be presented with the Good Tradition Award at this year's BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Mark will join John and his band at the awards ceremony on the 27th April at the Royal Albert Hall.

I notice that Mark is listed separately.  Is he going to perform on his own perhaps (with his promo band), or maybe join John and his band too.

John isn't very specific though.  From what John wrote I think Mark will play in his band, but since Mark is listed separately I also think he will perform his own set.

Since it's called The Radio 2 Folk Awards I would think it would be broadcast on Radio 2, possibly live.

It says on the RAH website "The event will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 and will be available to watch online via live stream on the Radio 2 website. It will also be available to watch on the BBC iPlayer and the Red Button service."
