A few notes on some earlier comments:

1. MK sounded much louder and less nervous in the hall itself. Not noticeably nervous at all from where we sat.

2. As he did just the one song, he had hardly got warmed up.

3. Though he was welcomed, it was not "his" audience really(though he did gain in this regard by being with McCusker crew, who had the unenviable task of opening the evening, so had appeared earlier).

4. I think I'm right in saying that they used on-stage monitors, not in-ear buds (unlike MK at recent shows)

Thanks, dustyvalentino.  Pity they dropped MK's comments.  I'd love to see his facial expressions while he was speaking. :(   And, no photos, as well.

was wonderfull evening,  mcccusker band opened and set the tone, other higlights for me were mark sounded full of confidence , nice to here haul away played on acoustic instead of the national and without the drums ,just different , I totally enjoyed myself joan Armstrong, and Kathryn Roberts and sean lakeman
