what we had was a few excerpts from the version of Quality Shoe, but is now in full Sheperd's Bush Empire of 2002. I am increasingly enamored with this channel, it is a real gift for fans.

Nice to see Chris White playing with him. This little solo is just another proof  (to me) that there is hardly any difference in the quality between Chris White and Nigel Hitchcock. I would always agree when someone says Chris would fit far better with Mark's music. Chris always made me literally  listen to an instrument which I otherwise would only connect with bad 80's music. Nigel's fragmented solo on Romeo & Juliet made me cringe when first heard in Munich..

Totally agree - CW is not only better suited to Mark's music but sounds a better musician to me.  Nigel tends to over-elaborate at times and frankly annoys me, especially on R&J.  Why does he have to play over the final verse and over the guitar solo at the end?  So annoying!!!  Sometimes less is more.

I'd rather hear Going Home without the sax too to be honest.

Seeing this video of quality shoe show up is indeed a very positive development for this channnel! It's actually live, it hasn't been released before (apart for snippets in the documentary and the full version in audio on the RPD bonus disc) and it's a good and confident performance (although be it of one of Mark's less interesting songs). Hope they put on more of that show! I wonder though if they can show why aye man on this channel because it's already officially being sold on itunes.

You should definitely check out Paul McCartney's blu-ray titled "Live Kisses", which is a blu-ray version of a live iTunes broadcast of his jazz concert in Capitol Studios. While original broadcast was almost perfect, this blu-ray is a disaster — whacky filters, crazy editing like REALLY 10 changes of an angle in 10 seconds, and overall one of the worst videos I ever seen in my live. I suspect music video director to consider music video to be boring so they tend to shake it up a little bit by 10 changes of an angle in 10 seconds.

I don't like neither. I like slow travelling with change of camera when accurate. For example if I had to edit a live video captation of BLT I would do quick switches between Mark and Richard playing focus as the guitar parts for both is on purpose (same for SAN). But for IDUAD guitar solo from 2006 I would want to have them both on the same picture without fast camera change.

But... there's clips from the concert all over the place anyway, so why not to make it official? If you can't beat it — lead it. Very wise.
