So far, Guy has ignored the question about "The Princess Bride" stage musical on his forum, so could this actually be the secret project?    If so, I wonder who will be performing.    :think

Looks that is produced by Disney...

I said this on page 25 http://www.amarkintime.org/forum/index.php?topic=5161.msg113853#msg113853

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Than why ignore this question  :think :think :think

Two reasons to be positive about NOT being the project:

Guy published the question instead of delete it, that would be the logical thing to do if it was that

Playtime Deluxe doesn't fit with a Princess Bride musical

Interestingly, the second i asked the question, the question appeared on his site so it seems that he does not filter out which questions make it and which don't.

His response is interesting...

But when going to answer, he can delete the question... And he didn't.

If he's really doing a musical the next step is a world tour with a symphonic orchestra like they usually do :lol
Imagine Brothers In Arms with a real orchestra once again though... I think, Mark and classical music goes together well.

I think Guy has deliberately ignored the question on his forum to make us think we have hit the nail on the head, when actually the project is something completely different.

I think Guy paid jbaent to take us away from real news so we will be blown away completely. Because... it's the best project they ever worked on.

Pfft...  Haven't even watched the entire film.  Completely uninterested.  Not only do I hate musicals but I also hate the fantasy genre.  I only watched a bit to catch Peter Falk 'cos I love Columbo.

Everyone seems to have assumed that MK is recording a Disney soundtrack, in spite of the fact that there is virtually no evidence to suggest that this is the case and that nobody, at any point, has confirmed it. If I were you, I would just be patient and wait to see for certain what is happening, instead of jumping to conclusions.

You are right but this rumour connect all the dots suggested by Guy's mysterious answers...

I hope this is not IT, what regularly means that is going to be it :(

But does it need a full band studio session and 8 months studio time? For a musical score?  :think

Phil Collins spent many years writing the Tarzan score and later the Broadway adaptation, it's something in which there are lot of people involved and how fast or slow it goes doesn't depend on you but on how things goes in the many other aspects involved in the production.
