And the sausages story?

Well, MK has all my sympathy with this ridiculous sausage story, whereas I hate Phil Palmer even more for talking about it.. People of greater character would have answered the "Spinal Tap" question with more discretion, and not speaking about other people like MK who was not in the room. But anyway. I never liked Phil Palmer. Also the way he complained about rehearsing in the summer, as if he was too posh for doing that...

If I am hungry I have a tendency to go ballistic myself if something goes wrong - ask the people at work..   so maybe MK was drooling about the sausages during the complete concert and was VERY hungry and therefore TOTALLY disappointed. Also "stealing" food from the man who pays them all and makes it all possible is quite rude in my opinion!

And wasn't the dentist asking for a lot of more money only because MK was a famous Musician? Makes MK also not looking bad from my point of view.

 ;)

fully agree!
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

I think it's impossible to judge negatively or positively these facts (like the dentist one) from the outside without knowing exactly what really happened

Exactly...

To say that MK is or was rude... It depends on so many factors... It looks that when he was in DS he was more rude than now, probably because he was under more stress than he is now, also his marriage, that ended in divorce after the OES tour had its effect on his mood, so it´s difficlut to judge someone without taking in consideration the background...

Absolutely ! I'm not judging, I am actually quite attracted in this "human" side. Mk is no robot, for sure :)

I recall the first time I met MK in person, it was in a radio station and before he got into the room someone came and told us not to approach him, no photos and no signing...

When the interview ended MK was more than happy to sign everyone and take pictures... When he signed my STP copy he even asked my name to personalize the signing... I was so surprised...

Some hours after he would do the same going out from his hotel and signing and taking pictures with everyone outside the hotel. This is how my picture with MK happened!!

Yeah! Very poor answer. I certainly wouldn't write a song about it.
