A new year is coming up and it is time for the usual and highly motivated moaning about the RnR HoF inductees and the obvious absense of MK.

Do you think Hall of Fame committee approach stars before inducting them? I think it's more like a honorific thing.
And why Mark isn't there I'd say because he is kind of genuinely underrated musician, which he likes anyway I think.

P.S. By "underrated" I mean exactly things like his absence in things like Hall of Fame of This and Hall of Fame of That.

I can still manage to get up in the morning and drive to the office - even though MK isn't inducted. It's not that thing.

The thing I hate the most is that the Hall of Fame has killed itself. Why Tupac?

What did he contribute with to the history of rock music (comparing or not comparing to DS)? And there are many many more examples.

There are loads of people in there not Rock and Roll.  I'm glad MK isn't in there with them anyway.

Me too.  It's not going to happen for MK.  And if Dire Straits was even considered, Mark for sure would put the kibosh on any consideration of a DS induction, as it would necessitate a DS reunion.
