thanks for sharing ! Too bad i don't understand German... a pitty that they don't use subs then I could listen to Mr Knopfler :p
BTW it's the same in France... (because we aren't good in english.... but i though German were...) Smiley

Hehe... It has nothing to do with English skills, I think it's because they don't think it's necessary to add English subtitles to a programme that's only on German TV (or French TV). How are they supposed to know there are quite a few hardcore fans from all over the world eager to watch every MK interview  Smiley
BTW I was indeed a little annoyed by the Parisians' lacking English skills. I do understand some French but they can't expect us silly tourists to speak French fluently  Cry Do I have to take this personally or is it just a cultural thing? I felt a little retarded.

I think what Nelly meant is that she would have liked German subtitles instead of the voice over, so we could have heard Mark's voice.
And you shouldn't take it personnally, French people can be very arrogant (and lazy) when it comes to languages. (of course there are exceptions, Nelly, me and, eeeeerrr, that's it! Grin)

I listened to the whole broadcast on Christmas Day and it was really enjoyable and different in lots of ways.  Unfortunately when we tried to save the programme, it kept crashing the computer and I am unable to "listen again" either!    Undecided

ustas - I've just tried your link and now It's OK!    Thank you!   Cheesy

Thanks for the link, ustas, it's Live From Afghanistan!   But I guess MK also featured on part 7, too.  Where's part 7, by the way?

Perhaps TK is out of news. No MK here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00jlwqd

Next Sunday, 15:00 on Radio 2
03/01/2010
Johnnie plays classic 70s tracks and speaks to Knebworth founder Freddie Bannister.

If memory serves there is a part of his show where he plays old vintage shows/interviews from the 70s, maybe that's what this is.
