I took the booklet out of my digipack and now I can't get the fucker to go back in.  Sad

True! That's a really small sleeve... Put up your glasses and it works well, trust me Wink  Grin

It is a hell of a job but it's not impossible, trust me. Grin On the other hand, don't take it out too often, the cover of the digipack will look like &@*# after a few times... Undecided

Finally my free cd came in this afternoon.  Still haven't received my digipak from Amazon. Sad Been listening to it to get the feel for it.  So far I like it .  Lots of nice songs.  Especially So far from the Clyde, brought tears to my eyes. Sad  I always respect Mark's talents in writing and making  music.  He is such a gift to us all . Smiley

I just received the album this past Saturday in the mail! Yes, the wait for the CD/DVD version was really that long. It's a long story.

Anyway, aside for the ridiculous distribution issues, this album is fantastic. I'm very surprised- I honestly didn't care for KtGC as I felt that for once in MK's career there were some weak songs on there. Get Lucky is very different, and much better IMO. I can't seem to stop listening to it, especially Border Reiver, Cleaning My Gun, and So Far from the Clyde. It's also probably the best engineered album I've ever heard. There's just so much dynamic range...so different from most albums of today where everything is maxed out to the point of almost clipping.

Blimey,
I thought I missed the next new album when I read the post topic first... Tongue
Did you really manage not to listen to the new songs until today?? That would be very admiring and strong-minded... Shocked

All the best,

That wait was an absolute disgrace - you have my sympathy.  You can at least take some comfort that you experiences with markknopfler.com mean a lesson learned for all of us.
