I've never known a mess like this where there are different tracks exclusively available to different countries. I really don't see the point of it. It just causes frustration and resentment.

It wouldn't be so bad if they also made them available to all centrally through the official site store, but no....that would be too easy.

This whole debacle smacks of iTunes and Amazon demanding `something extra` for their own promotional purposes. If this is true then Early Bird and Time In The Sun may never have seen the light of day at all. Either MK and/or management didn`t have the negotiating power to say `no` or maybe he didn`t care in the end? As many folks have commented, i can`t imagine MK devising all this himself, its just crazy.
Obviously we the fans care and none of the above explains the Boxset 3 song bonus choice. It could have been a whole lot more, outtakes, live stuff etc. (sorry wrong thread)

But there you go, my hunch is we have Early Bird because of iTunes.
I bet we`ll get Time in the Sun because of Amazon.
 Huh?

I just have to throw in I really like this song. Yes there's that metallic "twang twang" sound again and it has a strange 60's feel but I like it.

To me it looks like an unfinished song, although the first listening was kinda "Is this a joke?"  Shocked

I like to know as much songs as I can, but this one its not very good, imho  Wink

Agree, it's not really sophisticated and it does sound unfinished but still the melody is stuck in my head  Smiley

I think they are a little too late. they had to release both songs at the same time in the whole world.
I bet that most people allready have got those songs and 50% didn't pay for them.

 Huh?

Millionaire Blues
Kingdom Come
My Claim To Fame
Camerado
Let See You
Tall Order Baby
Small Potatoes
Gravy train
Badge Poster & Stickers
The Long Highway
Summer of Love
Eastbound train

All songs that could have never seen the light and we got (almost) all of these  in Cd quality...and I was happy to pay to get them.

So deafinitively no "thank" for mp3 providers!

Well, I've now heard Time In The Sun and to be honest I wouldn't have been bothered if it hadn't been released. Nice 12 string from Richard but otherwise pretty crap.

As it turns out, iTunes is going to "release" Time in the Sun as well. But only on 9/22. And you have to buy the whole album with the bonus track- you can't just buy the single track. Terms and conditions may apply. Not applicable to residents of Hawaii or Alaska. Offer ends 9/23. Bwahaha...the MK Inc. machine never ceases to amaze me.

They already losed time with this crap thing of country restrictions, many people won´t buy the songs right now as they were discriminated in the beguining  Angry

I rather send two pounds or dollar to MK itself, to his PCM adress or to the British grove adress than to itunes or amazon that treat me like an illegal alien trying to cross the sea in a canoe  Angry
