Does anyone have an official numbers for the sale of GL cds, deluxe set, digipack and all?  I'm curious to find out.  I heard that it's doing pretty good.

Yes, I was asking that myself, too! I found out that GL was in the "top 30" of the amazon sales here in Germany far longer than any other MK album before. And even if it left the top ten very soon, it was around place 20 until two weeks ago... Today it is on Nr. 41, so falling down, but that took a long time. So it must have sold pretty well. But how can we get exact figures?

I don't know about numbers like this. Get Lucky is out of the album chart (top 40) now, but tonight on national TV there were a couple of advertisements for Get Lucky. For the first time Get Lucky got advertised as far as I know. So I guess the sales are going up a little more now.

Difficult question.

Most important countries are here: USA,UK,Germany,France,Canada,AUS and Spain I think.

In Germany GL is climbing again. From 37 to 32 to 29 this week.
He should reach here Gold Status easily. I think about 75.000 copies are realistic.
USA number 17. Sailing reached Gold. GL perhaps nearly. So maybe about 400.000 copies?
What about the others countries???

I think Guy will never answer this, apart from he probably will also not know it at all. But PCM could be a good choice...

I have asked Universal in The Netherlands and first I don't have the exact number, because they say it is classified information (?)

The my next question to them was if the record will become platinum or gold. And the answer was: We are going towards a golden plate now! So thats almost 25,000 copies in The Netherlands.

In Germany I found out:

STP Platinum
RPD Gold
SL Gold
ATRR Gold
GL Gold
ATRR DVD Gold 25.000 copies

GH and KTGC: nothing (very strange)
Platinum is 200.000
Gold 100.000 copies.

Today, Google Alert  Wink told me that MK got an Gold Record Award presented by Universal in Berlin a few days ago. The article said that since September 2009, more than 150.000 albums of Get Lucky had been sold. So here we have an "official" figure. Interesting. That is not very much in my opinion...

Is that the number sold in Germany or worldwide sales though?  150,000 wouldn't be very many worldwide IMO either.

150.000 in Germany is nowadays pretty much.
That's between Gold and Platinum.
After all the concerts it will sell more I think.
To reach platinum is not easy anymore.
Thanks to all downloaders...

Well, setlist-wise MK did really EVERYTHING to sell more copies of GL after this tour, didn't he...  Disbelief

However, I think he doesn't give a damn about gold or platinum or whatever.
