Hi,
This is my first post on this MK- forum.
I would like to make a list of all MK/DS songs that were only released as a B-single, and not on a full-cd.
Who can help me?
F.i. MK's Small Patatoes is, as far as I know, only released on the "Wye aye man" single" (the 2,3 track version and the maxi single)
Which other b-singles are there?

Another, somewhat related question: are the songs on the DS 'on every street' maxi-single all album versions, or are there some differences? (live/tempo/arrangement/...)

same
you can find differences in some promos

The album on every street is very quietly recorded. Album re-edition from 1996 a little better.

Not sure to understand what you mean.
That said 1991's OES release - from a tech POV - is a killer recording/mixing/mastering IMHO.

I do not know why. But I always give louder on every street. BIA too.

That’s why you have volume control on your audio system. The original pressings of those albums have great dynamics, quiet moments are quiet and loud are loud. Nothing like most of todays mainstream music which is compressed and limited to have almost no dynamics and to be as loud as possible.

I understand everything but the same volume on previous albums is completely different :think

I agree that BIA is noticeably quieter than any other but haven't noticed any difference with OES to be honest.

This is easy to note when you do a compilation yourself with songs from each record, the volume difference between songs sometimes is very clear

It's true.

A littler OT but it makes me think of how the song OES is mixed on the official live album, the "quiet" part is almost at same volume as the rest whereas on the live broadcasts the quiet part is really quieter than the rest of the song.
