Kinda interesting that your favourite party leader is a big fan of MK. If I recall it correctly he told a newspaper some time ago that Alchemy was his favorite album, and his best concert memory was from a MK concert. Wondering if he asked for a autograph..

Indeed it was, heh... Well since no one from AMIT was there to tell about it I'm guessing Beryl. Being the single and all. Now I wonder which the other musicians on stage (except Guy) were.
Most people that are fans of MK's are fully normal and reasonable people. I bet Mark finally got the autograph ;D

When he visited the same show back in 2003 he did play Old Pigweed, instead of a more record-selling Why Aye Man. So Beryl is probably the best choice.

Well i did my research again (why has my life gone so wrong?) and found a picture of MK playing the strat with a band, so it seems live to me. Notice that he's playing the '61 instead of his signature if I'm correct

MK is performing Beryl at Skavlan talkshow tonight on NRK1 21:25 CET and SVT1 21:00 CET. I don't know if there will be an interview as well.

Yes I no, no politics - my player got stuck for the last part of that, I guess I did not miss anything as the player worked Again when MK joined ;)

The promo versions, even when they are live, are always as per studio due to time restrains remember. Sometimes even shorter!

Just nice to see MK and the Band play Beryl live!!! And I enjoyed the interview as well!!! Even if he told this story many times before, I'm still finding very funny that he destroyed the Radio Set at home because he didn't have an amp when he got his first guitar!!! Tackar!!! :thumbsup :clap

What? Live? It's a playback. Not even the best playback actually. I remember when one time Mark was playing with playback he was waving hands to the audience all the time and on one part of the song he actually played some licks AND waved to the audience with his right hand. That was fabulous ;D

I agree with you, don't believe either this man got an autograph from MK!!! True about the voice and now that I've seen the French interview and Live from Beryl which was perfect, I think that he was maybe tired and a bit sick!! Afterall he did 3 shows in 3 differents countries in 4 days I believe. He started in France than he made Norway and last Germany!!! :wave

It was only the Norwegian show. The ones from Bremen and France were live.

The playback thing had primaly to do with the show wasn't recorded at the main studio in Stockholm (it's a co-production beetween Swedish and Norwegian television, and it's of course easier to get international guests to London than Stockholm). That means lack of technics, but also studio crew because they didn't wanna take part in that particular show because of the politician that guested that night.

Read it on Twitter a while ago. The post was about that they were a bit short on studio crew. The music on "Skavlan" has always been live otherwise.
