Just back in the hotel after my 4th and final MK concert. Again a mindblowing show wth a great band, Mark talking about continuing until he falls over, and an enthusiastic audience!

Are they still doing the duet in stp?
-
Yes

It was a fantastic concert. Mark Knopfler came across very sympathetic. The band and the sound, simply ingenious.

Yep I was :) Second and final concert for me this time, it was nice to meet some familiar faces and to bring my mum with me again who really enjoyed the show. Really really great concert, great sound (I like the SAP arena, much better than the Festhalle in Frankfurt). OES and Piper instead of Silvertown and BiA was a nice surprise (haven't read any setlists since Berlin). MK seems to enjoy telling the Matchstick Man story and people enjoy to listen (I suppose they're not used to him being that talkative, LOL), and it's great to see he still loves what he's doing. He said he probably will continue til he drops and got some Boos and No's when he told everyone he should retire. So, I think he will be back, but probably on a smaller scale. He seemed a little stiff and uncomfortable and didn't move around a lot (I especially noticed during Postcards which is THE song to at least dance a LITTLE bit). Probably back pain? I hope he will take better care of himself. Hard to believe he's the same age as Springsteen who's so much fitter... BTW the bull running was really funny. It started at the end of Speedway and a desperate security lady indeed tried to stop us. Marc96er and I just ran her over ;D I mean come on. We're all nice and respectful people and just want to enjoy MK up close for the last few songs. No need for silly attempts to stop us ;D
The drive back home was a little exhausting as there was quite some traffic, even in the middle of the night. Also, it took me ages to get out of the parking deck. But only respectful drivers around the SAP arena, that was nice. And after all, it was all worth it - again. BTW, any news about whether there will be a DVD of this tour?

I want my, I want my, I want my DVD (Blue-ray).
-
The music DVD (or Blueray) is dead so to speak, so I wouldn’t hope to much.
-
You're probably right. Still, it would be great to have at least ONE MK tour properly documented on film. Call me oldschool but I love concert DVD's.
-
Or if not a physical format, why not just a download or streaming? Unbelievable how behind Mark and management are in some respects.
-
True. If you put it up for download or streaming there are no costs for pressing the dvd's, distribution etc.

No DVD announced yet.
I was in Antwerp...with 2 great screens and a lot of caméras. Why ?

No it’s not true
« La salle a une capacité de 13.400 places assises et il faut ajouter 2.000 places assises jusqu’à 5.000 places debout sur le parterre. La capacité maximum actuelle du Sportpaleis s’élève à 18.400 places. Pendant l’été des derniers ans il y avait des travaux pour aller atteindre 23.359 places avec un meilleur accès. Le Sportpaleis en forme ellypse a l’avantage que tous les spectateurs ont une bonne vue. »

Me too.

I agree.
-
I also love to have a DVD/Blu-ray. The quality is better than download. David Gilmour & Roger Waters still release their concerts this way, so there is a market for it.
