aaahhmmmm.....

I was reading the news on this thread and re-read the whole thing: Funny that Shakin' Stevens also was my first record - "You Drive Me Crazy", a song that I still like very much! I read that Dusty had the same artist with another song, but the album was "Shaky", my first "real" album, after lots of hit samplers, and radio plays on vinyl....

Here is the cover of my first "real" record...

with a lot of great songs on it...

Blimey, I have to look if I can get that one on CD or something...

Nice lady, btw...   :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

This thread is very confessional!

I wish it had been Sultans instead - so i could have a pristine copy of Eastbound Train! I`ve never heard a great sounding version of it.
Hey, i`ve got a truffle dog - finally a song the ordinary man can relate too!

Clarks shoes had an offer when I went to get new shoes for school waaaaaay back and they let you choose from a set number of 7" singles from participating artists.  I chose I'm Still Standing by Elton John and still have it!

Ah, first single, why aye man that was. Second single Boom, like that (bought it together with SL album) on the 23rd of September 2004. And yes, that was before the official album release.

6 May 1992, On every street &'' single by DS. My second one was Pink Floyd's "Another brick in the wall pt.2".My first record was Helloween-Live in the UK (well this is my past I can't change it). In fact all the first 9 records I bought were by Helloween. Then a metal head friend, suggested I listened to an album his brother just bought. It was 1989 and the record was "Money for nothing". As soon as I heard SOS, I run downtown to buy it, together with Pyromania by Def Leppard. That was my tenth and eleventh record respectively. From then on it was DS and MK related. Funny thing I discovered Dylan from a completely different situation and only found out his collaboration with MK in 1994. Sad thing, I missed his concert from the Neverending tour in 1993, and this reminds me of another fine musician I missed that summer, John Campbell, and since he died shortly after, I missed him  for good. He was a great slide guitar player with a thunderous gravel voice. If you don't know him give him a try:
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Certainly June but I can't quite recall the exact date. It was one concert, so it can't be other than that. You are referring to Dylan I suppose.
Come on, it is not funny anymore.
