Hope they are seriously rehearsing a new and fresh set that does MK’s catalogue and this band’s talent justice. So please not those same songs in that same following order. Something like:
Back on the dancefloor
Rearview mirror / Wag the dog
Portobello belle
Fare thee well Northumberland
Go love/ Lights of Taormina / Two skinny kids
Sailing to Philadelphia
Good on you son
Iron hand / Matchstick man
Metroland
Why worry / Water of love
Your latest trick
You and your friend / Radio City seranade
So far from the Clyde
Brothers in arms
One song at a time
One more matinee
It’s not realistic, but these are songs Mark should be able to play (no fast guitar wizardy required).

Does the rehearsals take Place in British groove Studios? ??? ???

No. They never did.

I *THOUGH* they did it once if I remember well -  Guy mentioning that it was indeed a mistake to do so.
BUT I could not fin info confirming so I am probably mixing things.

They did indeed rehearse at British Grove for the Shangri-La tour back in 2005. Photos of those rehearsals were included in Guy’s Shangri-La tour diary (which is currently unavailable), but because Mark had yet to record any albums there and it was not acknowledged at the time that the band were there, none of us would have been any the wiser anyway. I think it turned out that as brilliant a facility as British Grove is, it wasn’t terribly practical for tour rehearsals, hence the reason other locations have been used since then.

British Grove studios were open after the Shangri-la tour so it's impossible they rehearse there...

First thing MK did there after opening was mixing all the road running record...

Hopefully they could extend the average 15-16 song setlist into 18-19 songs?
They really need to squeeze in the real known MK songs like STP, WII etc.. It's harder to fit all songs in the setlist for each new album if songs are still to be included from every album  :lol

Calling Elvis as intro again with that 2001 sound, I WOULD LIKE!!!!! :thumbsup

Actually... It looks like British Grove but unfinished...

https://web.archive.org/web/20060304154625/http://www.guyfletcher.co.uk/guyedit/2005td/2005td1.html

... Before the studios were opened.

But I'm not sure if it was British Grove or a similar place.

What it's sure is that after the opening, they never rehearsed there.

As far as I remember ATRR was not only mixed at BG but the last recording sessions for the album took place at BG and so ATRR has the first MK songs recorded at BG on it.

Check the credits on the Shangri-La album. It was mixed at British Grove, and that was as far back as 2004.

That's right!

So indeed it could be possible they rehearsed for the tour there, as it was just opened probably they didn't have so many clients as they do now and they had availability  ;D

Just found Guy’s answer to a question on his forum from 2013, regarding rehearsing at British Grove:

British Grove is a recording studio and although we did rehearse there once…back in 2005, it was not ideal.

Well, in my opinion one of Mark's best tours came out of these rehearsals at the British Grove studio, they should do it more often :)
If I realised that the chances were slim,
How come I'm so surprised when the tide rolled in
