 4.Hill Farmers Blues
 5.Cannibals

to be honest:
Darling pretty is perhaps one of the best ones.
The 3 solos in it are killer. Especially live.
Listen to the Vaison Version or Antibes. Wow

3) Claim to Fame
4) What it is
5) Prairie wedding (Played at our wedding)
6) I used to could
7) You don't know your born (Shadows/Hank influence sound at end)
8) Secondary Waltz (Heard if first at Hay-on-Wye Live!)
9) Our Shangri-La
10) Dream of the drowned submariner
11) Piper to the end (Played at my Fathers Funeral)

4. Wanderlust
5. Speedway at Nazareth
6. Boom, Like That
7. The Trawlerman's Song

YONTWOCROWS, it's not such a big effort. With Excel it is done very quickly.

I was a little bit curious to know which songs are favorites. And how the ranking is. So I made this list.
If some of you are also interested in it, I could update the list from time to time.

I would also like to make such a list of my 10 favourite songs, but I can't decide which one on place 1, place 2 and so on. What I wonder is: so far "Bluebird" :) for example wasn't mentioned, this is one of my favorite songs.

At the moment it looks like this:
Darling Pretty-- ---------------7 x No. 1
What it is----------------------6 x No. 1
Speedway at Nazareth------2 x No. 1
Golden Heart------------------1 x No. 1
Kingdom of Gold--------------1 x No. 1

Here are 3 different versions of updated lists:

I intend to edit mine too, when I've given it a bit more thought!   It's a compliment to MK's songwriting that it's such a hard task!   ;)

Don't think 10 is a fair track list after all it's not a Dire Straits Greatest hits when I would struggle to get 10!!! ;D

I reckon that as MK has never released any less than 11 tracks on any one of his 7 solo 'studio' albums I think we should up the stakes by another track each.....

Mine is ordered based on how I would put the songs on an album: not in order of favorites but how they work together.

I did the same.

@Bluebird: But i'm still very interested in the list. It's really difficult to decide which 10 tracks to choose, it's nearly impossible to put them into an order of importance. But I'm for example interested which song gets the most hits, which songs onl a few. And your list is very helpful. There are interesting votes. I decided due the votes to listen to e.g. wanderlust and metroland again.
