Looking for a small practice amp
« on: February 20, 2015, 09:30:05 PM »
Hey there,

I'm looking for a small but versatile practice amp. Has anyone experienced the Yamaha THR10 so far?

Thanks!

Haven't myself but I read a lot of forums etc and they are generally regarded as the best. Not cheap though.

Thanks so far! I understand there exist different versions THR10-C, THR10-X, etc. for different tones. Now that is clever (?) marketing by yamaha. I bet they learned that from the music industry. It wouldn't be easy to put all emulation models in one amp....

I've been using a fender mini twin amp but the sonic abilities of this little box are so limited.

When you point your finger 'cause your plan fell through you've got 3 more fingers pointing back at you.

Ok, thanks. I think I'll stick with the THR10C.

Hi!

Thanks for the link. I'll look into it and try to play both (if available) in the shop.
