Im currently camping in the New Forest and thought I would go to the Eastend Arms for lunch. So in we go and sat by the bar having lunch was a famous musician from the 80's having lunch. My jaw hit the floor and my legs went to jelly. I didnt speak to him but he did speak to my daughter who at 3 has no idea who he is. I did get a couple of covert pics as he got into his gorgeous classic porsche.

:o :o :o :o
Awesome! I'm a little bit jealous now!
-
Oh boy I'm in suspense now - are you going to let us know who the musician was? ;D
How cool is that bro! :thumbsup
-
Great! But your daughter was a perfect cover for taking pics with him. A pity you didn't do it. With kids he's always nice
-
I'm a bit jealous too btw, but I know how you must have felt! Any chance we can see the pictures? :)
-
Maybe he is camping somewere in the forrest, too? ;D

The Hotel is "The Master Builder's House Hotel" located near Beaulieu but seem that the company that runned it and that John was involved in has ceased now.
I stayed there in 2002 for the MK & Friends gig.

Banjo, what a cool sighting for you.
I am glad MK can get out in public a bit without being bothered.
Would love to see your pictures.
-
Well, if you are in that area in holydays season, its probably very likely that you see MK there paying a visit to John ;D
-
Hi, I was away for a couple of weeks, because I had so much to do in the last time, jobwise and private, but I read at Amit now and then.
This is mind-blowing! I would love to see your photos! I wish I would be there, too ;) !

lovely attitude and agree with you with regards to not bothering MK. If I saw him I guess it would be great to speak to him but I certainly wouldnt push it. Hey Banjo good for you and hope you enjoyed your encounter. And it is a lovely pub not 25 mins away from us!!!;-)

All you rich folk cavorting around the New Forest, drinking fine wine in fancy pubs makes me sick!
Some of us have to work y'know?!?

Don't worry fletch, we also work. Not rich (at least I am not, don't know about others)
Just spend the money I earn. And take my free days from work to do so :D
This year I call it my parttime sabbatical.
And I must say, easy to get used to it ;D

The 356 could be considered the first step between the Volkswagen Beatle and the first Porsche 911. The problem of this 356 is that it has an old VW old Beatle engine, with four opposites cilinders, what means that if somebody wants to run faster than 90 Kms/hour, than he or she needs the help of their feet (like the Flintstones). We can conclude that MK doesn
