If you read as a lawyer, is there anything to say that the bonus songs would be downloadable? Could be that the vinyl bonus tracks will not be officially digital?

I copied my post I wrote in "release date" topic. I didn't know there was a new topic.
Yep, I still love to have to box but at the end, but actually there is not really an extra on it for €100,- :disbelief. No making of DVD or so, you only have de deluxe album on cd and vinyl... Worse then before, and yes the bonus tracks only vinyl?? Sorry but that is too much ::). Sorry for my negative post, but I'm just disapointed :'(

Whats the point anyway, the 16 track cd is in the boxset ??? Why offer exact the same tracks (minus 2) as download?

I briefly considered buying this box today. This was only for the download card as you say. Then I realized that my local shop was not selling the box, only the CD, so I decided this was a sign of fate and bought only the "deluxe" CD. Reading this I am really glad !
I hope the people who got the box with digitalize the bonus tracks in HQ and share them, this will only be justice.

I think the missed expectation lies in not realizing what get-a-lifers want; everything! I mean there's no official digital DS Twisting EP? There's simply no understanding that's what we want as a minimum, not a bonus?

No my friend. When in september, I decided to pre-order the box, I read clearly - bonus card downloading tracks - Whats the point anyway, the 16 track cd is in the boxset ??? Why offer exact the same tracks (minus 2) as download?

It stands to reason that we actually DO want to buy all the songs, just in reasonable way!
For example, if they offered the vinyl bonus tracks on an affordable bonus single / EP per record store day type thing, there would be less grievance.
But if you buy the super deluxe golden hand-woven, MK-kissed & stitched box set, it is reasonable to think you wouldn't miss out on the CD bonus tracks...
It does seem like they either don't understand what fans want, or they want to exploit their most devoted fans as much as they can.

So is it also written at Bol.com. So that it is only 14 is also a wrong way to sell your product... And ALL songs means including the bonus tracks?? Otherwise it is ALL songs of the standard album wich is not included in the box :lol. :hmm

Im so angry because thinking that 3 beauty tracks like Sky and Water :P :P Don't suck me in 8) 8) and Pale Imitation :thumbsup aren't possible listen in digital way :'( :'( :'( :disbelief :disbelief :disbelief

Should be good but my turntable bit the dust earlier in the year and I decided not to get another. Barely used it. Love my old Sony CDP-XA20ES CD player through my B&W DM801s.

I understand what they are try to say with that vinyl thing. But IF they also put up a download voucher, then it should be complete. Or be consequent and no voucher at all... so typical for MK releases over the last years ..

I can't imagine that those three tracks will only be available physically, right? Maybe they'll be digitally published later on, at least I very well hope so. It'd be a shame to miss out on those.

I ran the extra tracks through a quick and dirty "mastering process" in Logic Pro, but I am by no means an expert, however they are now possible to listen to and at about the same volume as the rest (but crap sound in, crap sound out).
But I'm hoping for a way to get these tracks in a better quality, as I really like them.

You're more modern than me! Still have the CD player and speakers, just the turntable that went kaput. Had them since the early to mid 90s if I remember right. :think Built like a tank.

Everyone should open a support ticket with markknopfler.com (https://support.markknopfler.com/support/tickets/new) and request the extra tracks be added to the download, as the pre release marketing material stated the code would be for ALL TRACKS.

Well, it's obvious. Before putting them on digital they will see how the sale of vinyl will go and then the sale of the three songs will go digital.

Wow, hi all! First time I have been here in years. Absolutely gutted reading this thread, I've been trawling the inter webs to see how I can 'purchase' the bonus tracks. I've no desire for the vinyl with no function to play so it's all digital for me. I think MK/record company have really misunderstood the fans. We just want the music! I'm happy to pay for it! Otherwise enjoying DTRW, still a few tracks to really get into.

Bugger! With Tracker and DTRW I've gone just digital downloads. It's nice to have the physical copies but I find they just gather dust. I guess you'd get better quality as well though

One customer who gets a CD where the last tracks does not play due to damage? A real shame... All the confusion with the FA process in the beginning, all the disappointment with rows, the failure with apple.com + at&t mail addresses for FA tickets + so many rejected fans for FA tickets, tracks exclusive on vinyl and only standard songs in download voucher for digital songs, late deliveries in next week for some fans?, I mean the list can be a lot longer as well..

The rest of the album was there in my music as soon as 16th November came around. Yea I am satisfied as well, got row 1 through FA, expected 4-6 so lucky I guess... The bonus tracks will be digitalised by somebody I believe, just be patient :)
