Always nice to see and hear Mark, and it must have been a thrill to be in the same room. What's a bit of a problem, though, is that unless someone actively fights his temptation to re-tell the same stories (and Paul Sexton, unfortunately, doesn't), he'll come back to them again and again. Sometimes even on a word-by-word level (Did you know that they used to call Why Worry "Why Bother"? Now you know.)
I'm not blaming Mark for this. I guess he's developed this habit at a time when most fans would read/watch one or two interviews per album - the ones that happened to be published by their local newspapers and TV/radio stations. In that old world of media, having a deck of well-prepared answers made perfect sense. You could do interviews (for which you didn't have the time, anyway) on autopilot, and still didn't risk boring people.
Things have changed dramatically, however. The internet allows each and every interview to live forever, and wherever, so you better come up with something fresh each time you give one. Again, I'm not blaming Mark - he just sticks to what worked for all his career, which is perfectly understandable. The interviewers, however - this being their job - should know better.
