Title: POLL - Choose 4 DTRW songs you want to be played live
Post by: PensaGhost on November 20, 2018, 04:43:13 PM: I know this is not going to have effect at 99% since Guy always say they don't care what fans want.... but maybe we should vote 4 songs you would like to be played live in the next tour and at the end one of our editor/moderator could send the results to Guy on his forum.

Havn't they made weird choices on previous tours as well?

Will be interesting to see the early setlists from Barcelona and get a slight picture of what might be played

so Don't Suck Me In, which is currently 5th and probably about the same eventually, should be considered much higher and be included in the list to be sent to Guy anyway

I think Trapper man is the number 1 for me, would be great as an opener.

I also think as an encore Matchstick man into Local Hero would be pretty cool too.

Post by: vr46mk on November 21, 2018, 11:10:58 AM: Actually when I think about it I would like many songs from DTRW and then one part of the concert with "best of" from different albums.. 3-4 songs from each album maybe.. of course it's mixed already but i am thinking of a bit extended concert to be able to play it all..i know Guy and the rest don't give a sh*t, but I would like to have it that way if it really is the last big tour..

Terminal I think he played only once, in a warmup gig before the last tour. Gravy Train and Long Highway were played in 1996, Pyroman was never released but played in 2001, only until 9/11- then he quietly and correctly dropped it, but I can't recall any others. So I think he won't play it even though he should.

I agree Trapper Man would be a great opener. Just A Boy will be amazing with Mark on the slide; I can see a five minute solo for the YNWA part. Heavy Up is an upbeat, get out of your seat number, and I could see Mark asking for audience participation ala Skydiver, on the "Heavy Up" part. Finally, One Song At A Time is a 100% certainty (I hope) because it's emotional for Mark at this point in his life, thinking about Chet.
