Checking dates availability in London (yes, I'm bored at this early hour at work...)

Royal Albert Hall: free from May 5th until May 23rd / from May 25th until June 21st. A good chance to have MK there early May or early June!

https://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/dayplanner?DateRange=1556751599__1561849200

O2 Arena: Free from April 30th until May 18th / From May 20th until May 24th / From May 26th to December!

https://www.theo2.co.uk/events/index/96

In both venues there is a good chance that MK is playing in London at the same time the musical is at The Old Vic... I hope they coincide and do a double!

It would be wonderful to be able to combine the musical with the concert in London.
But given that MK usually plays London at the end of May or the beginnging of June, expectations should not be too high.
And maybe it is even better so, since almost every fan who plans to come to London for the show would also wish a ticket for the musical during his stay and that should prove more than difficult.

I’ve said it here before. Tourdates for Europe always goes on sale at least 6 months before they start. If the tour starts in april we will know it at the end off oktober at the latest. The more i think of it, oktober will be the month for a new album and concertdates  ;D

Yes, MK usually plays in London late May, early June as later (that was in 2001, STP tour if memory serves).

This time I think it could be different because of the musical. MK would be of course in the premiere in Edinburgh, and I believe he would also be in the premiere in London, which is June 13rd, or earlier if that's the commercial first date and there is an earlier premiere (as it happens in Edinburgh), so it's likely that MK would:

a/ Place the London dates around the London premiere for the musical so he can attend as the writter of the songs
b/ Place the tour dates with a gap of a few days so he can travel to London to attend the premiere, and then go back to his tour

Both are logical moves, but I think that most of us would preffer the first one, so we can do a double!

By the way, The Old Vic gives the chances to buy very cheap tickets to previews of the plays... maybe there would be five pre.view shows before the one at June 13rd that coincide with him playing in London!  Check this:

Don't think that'll happen;  people at the Lyceum rightly wouldn't be too happy if they fail to sell out because of this.  Seems kind of soon too, considering the album isn't even out yet, never mind the tour dates.

If PCM arrange to have the London concerts the same time as the musical in London then many fans may decide to travel and do "the double" too.  This will then make their minds up about travelling to Edinburgh to see the musical and the Lyceum may not sell all their tickets.  This would not be fair by PCM to do this IMO.

Actually, if they are clever enough, they would set the Glasgow, Newcastle and other Northern English shows around the same time of the Edinburgh dates for the musical so people would do the double show with The Lyceum show.

Yeah, they could do that.  They could have him play the Usher Hall next door in fact where he was due to play in '96!

Guy said yesterday they are still doing preperations for the release. Someone asked what kind of preperations and he answered : "its complicated"

What could that be?

My guess is TV appearances, promo material, short versions for radio release and stuff like that.

And don't forget they all have to agree (in writing) that nobody would ever ask the wrong question. Questions like "why did you miss the Hall of Fame, Mark?"
