Title: Why Aye Man live 2019
Post by: knopflertom on November 13, 2020, 07:10:41 AM
Hi everyone,

I have read at  Guy‘s forum that at the o2 gig in London 2019 a riff from Layla was played by Mark during WAM. Has anybody spotted it too? At which time approximately?  Was ist only played at that gig?

At the RAH shows he played some nice riffs/rhythm parts at approx 1min. onwards; this reminds me on song/rhythm but I don‘t habe a cue  ?? Does anybody has an idea?

Thanks!

It starts just after the 40 second mark in my recording. Its a little sequence of notes that sounds like Layla. Not sure if it's even deliberate.

Heard it discussed before but I don't remember if it was only this show.  He nearly always plays Blaydon Races and You'll Be a Woman Soon.
