Interesting he should stay there when the lyceum is at the other end of Princes Street; he'll have to walk through the busiest thoroughfare in Scotland to get there! Charlotte Street/Square are really nearby the Lyceum for accommodation.

Maybe it's close from where the musical is bein rehearsed. I guess they won't go to the Lyceum until the production rehearsals.
Funily, the hotel I booked is close to where MK has that apartment :lol
