To be honest, I can't imagine many radio stations playing it, here in the UK anyway. Terry Wogan might give it a token play, but I think it's too "fiddle-dee-diddle-dee" for mainstream radio, sadly.

I am not sure if this is really an official single release or just a promo single adressed to radio stations? A "real" release would be great however, there ils always
some hope for one or two new tracks on a single...

I think that Remembrance Day will be released as enhaced CD. With a full video (it is 1.20 min episode only on Get Lucky DVD). It is just my private forecast.

The omroep.portal is the website for the non-commercial dutch TV stations. It will probably say nothing about GL, only if it's mentioned in a TV or radio program. If I find something interesting, I'll post it of course!

Mark Knopfler: "Border reiver"

Mark Knopfler has as singer, songwriter and guitarist of the british band Dire Straits in his 30 years career, won several Grammys and is the composer of songs like Sultans of Swing and Romeo and Juliet. He produced records of Bob Dylan and Randy Newmand and recorded film scores. In 2007 Knopfler released his album KTGC in 2007, which immediately after the release reached the 2nd place in the charts in Germany. With "Get Lucky" Mark Knopfler releases his sixth solo album, which he produced with long time well known persons like Chuck Ainlay and Guy FLetcher, in Germany in the first half of September. Border Reiver is a autobiographic song from the new album. Released as title of the first single in Germany, half September.

Border reiver is 8th song and NDR online player does not skip button, you should listen to 7 songs before Border reiver. Or if you have broadband internet you can download full programme http://ndr.ic.llnwd.net/stream/ndr_ndrloop18_hi_mp3 , it could be faster.

P.S. Of course I do not know what kind or station plays in " A Place Where You Used To Live". But I know that in US - Radio WTTS 92.3FM, KFOG and World Cafe have a good connection with Mark or his management and as usual they have exclusive material for listeners.
