When Redbud Tree was about to be released some obscure Slovenian (?) online radio station played it first of all and had people sitting and waiting throughout a day to have it played again and then being taped.

If I recall correctly, even Metroland was first broadcasted and duly taped from a radio station back in -97. Then put on a delightful hissy and lossy 128 khz mp3 file (or something like that) for the community to enjoy :-)

MK fans are always on high alert!  :thumbsup

Yes, perfect opener it is. Also probably track 01 on the album?
I guess Guy will lay some keyboard/snyth sound underneath it, Mark coming up on stage, starting with these nice dreamy intro notes... yepp.. looking forward to it!  ;D

Oh well, I won't get tired of listening now, because I was too late to download!   :smack   

Seriously though, what I meant was that the songs which are more immediate, are usually those I tire of first and there are others less immediate that stay with me longest.   I do like the song a lot though and especially the wonderful strat sound!

A friend and I were the ones who recorded and shared Metroland from a Spanish radio...

Don't forget that the official site put on his server the whole record and they didn't noticed until it was too late and someone downloaded it and shared!!!

They don't understand how to promote the music in the new Internet world. The main purpose of a single release is for promotion, so, why block people from listening it?
The guys uploading it to the social networks actually are doing a favor to the promotion. Even the leakage by mistake can boost the social presence, as it has been proven repeatedly.
