gotta agree with dusty on this one. musically it is not all sound, and Marco to me cannot match Mark's singing in a long time, but the guys seemed to have visibly been enjoying themselves. that to me counts big time.
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

I agree with Dusty on this too.  They also seemed to have the emphasis on "tribute" where Alan's band have the emphasis on "cashing in."

I'm not too happy about either of them, especially the lead guitarists.   Has Phil Palmer changed bands, btw or is it a temporary measure?    ???

totally agree

A band featuring original DS members should have at the very least a very good lead guitar.
at the very least

Well, I must say I am relieved to hear these comments. After listening to the provided songs and then when I read  the enthusiastic comments, I was ready to schedule myself for a hearing test!  ;D

Its not an interpretation, I heard/read Alan telling exactly what I said, it must be one of those promotional interviews in youtube, or maybe some articles, I can

Am I the only one who actually enjoyed watching the videos ?????? I think they are not bad either " The Straits. or The Legend"  I enjoy them all. I even enjoy listening to any cover bands playing all those wonderful DS songs.   I guess it's my way of fantasizing hearing DS songs played live again.  ;)

Actually I think its quite the same but told in another way that, as you hinted, sounds more than he was searching for better musicians.

I was at the concert of DS Legends in Mantova and I enjoyed it a lot!
You have to go without making comparisons with the original live versions (more than 30 years ago and there is no Mark).
