Hi all,
I was wondering if some of you knows where MK lives, is it true that he still lives in London? I'm not asking for exact details since this is probably not allowed neither am I asking for people to stalk Mark... :P

Was chatting to a property developer in my local last night and he was telling me that MK is selling his house by the sea. He described it as the most expensive house outside of London!!!

That's a shame. It was kind of nice to know that my biggest musical hero lived only a few miles away from me! Oh well.

Maybe he's looking for other bigger or with the facilities he was not allow to build in his house because of the laws protecting the New Forest area.
Or maybe he's not selling the house and that property developer saw the incorrect information in the net about one house being sell at the area that it was supposed to be Mark's but Val said that is not.

Hi Jbaent - I was referring in another thread, sometime ago, about his London house being for sale. I don't know anything about his beach house having been for sale. There's probably been some confusion between his London house and the holiday one. :)

Oh yes, I was always under the impression that London is where he is mostly based, especially with British Grove being there now. Perhaps he feels that he spends too much time in London to warrant having such a large house down here. It's Mark's business of course but whatever the reason, it must be a pretty damn good one because it's a beautiful part of the world!

Mark owns BG but he is not the one who operates it.
So I guess that 99% of the time he is spending at it is for recording purposes.
And, as it is a commercial studio he actually has to pay the studio to use it.

Mark does some interviews in a restaurant in Chelsea called "bluebird cafe" in Kings Road and in that interviews he says that the reason he does the interviews there is because he lives around the corner... That could mean he leaves not far from it and can be many streets around the Bluebird Cafe...

Running a studio costs a lot of money. You need to pay the techs, maintain the equipment, etc.

Yes.
The Studio is a commercial company, not his private property.
And Mark is paid by his records company to make the record so in the end this is the record company that pay the bill... and us the fans when we buy the record.
