Very strange and sad story, seems the great Gerry Rafferty has been missing for seven months.

Didn't realise he had problems with alcohol.

Such a shame that so many great talents succumb to the problems associated with drugs and alcohol.  :(

According to Ceefax today, Gerry Rafferty has confirmed he is very well and living in Tuscany.  He is still writing songs and hopes to release a new album.  He has thanked his worried fans.   So all's well that ends well!   :D

Good news, but these claims from the manager of the hotel he was in last year don't fill me with confidence, "urine and vomit", eurgh.  :-\

 The hotel room sounds revolting, but I think he is a very sad man and obviously needs help.
