Did anyone listen to Juke? was his music good?
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

If you want to enjoy it, you need 2 items:
1/A pillow for the start of his part;
2/A strong alarm clock for the end, so that you don't miss MK'entrance.

Think of him as a kind of male Kate Walsh :)

As long as Crockford is opening the ceremony, there's no real danger of missing Mark.

Actually, I hope Mark will invite Juke on stage at some point. He'd have a good voice for a Sailing to Philadelphia duet, for instance.

Opening for another (big) artist must be so hard. You know that 99.999% of the audience are not there to listen to you and basically can't wait for you to get off the stage so the main artist can get going.

Curious that Mark has always(?) chosen singer-songwriter types to open. Probably for logistical reasons, but at least he doesn't risk being "outplayed" by a truly hot band. Imagine that the opener is better than the main artist lol

Like the way Mark opened for Bob Dylan in 2011 & 2012 and outplayed him ;)

Yet a lot of the Dylan fans couldn't get Mark fast enough off the stage.

I often wish Crockford would not yell that much..
 If you look how relaxed and cool "Columbia recording artist" Bob Dylan is introduced you wish Mark would get some inspiration from that, too. Crock's suit however is really great.

I've walked out on Dylan. I'd rather push a rusty nail through my eardrums than listening to the false crow like voice of his  ;).

I still don't know why Mark needs an introduction at all, we all know who we are there to see. Did Dire Straits get an introduction on the On Every Street tour?

I think that started with the Dylan tour in 2011... Maybe Mk liked that Dylan was introduced and wanted to experience it himself...
