Thanks for posting, Knopfling! Listening to it right now, and trying to imagine MK including this on Privateering. Can't help thinking this is another missed opportunity for another MK gem... :-\

Loving the tune and the words. Not caring for the arrangement or the voice. I'm thinking about the different ways MK would have played and sung it. Slow pretty thoughtful, or rousing happy upbeat. Guess we won't know. Darn it.

I am sure MK / GF would have made much more of this than what I am hearing! This arrangement doesn't touch my musical DNA whatsoever!

Yes, I wonder how it would have sounded with MK on Privateering too, but I must say that I did like it a lot! I've seen Tim O'Brien on Transatlantic Sessions a few times and the song suits his style. :)
