Richard Bennet has a new website. On his section tourdates there is a section Mark Knopfler. No upcoming tourdates. (at the moment). Don’t know if he had this before on his other website but i think it will soon change

To be polite and answer your question, I think that it may not be handled well but the arrogant, nasty and out-of-touch EU is the disaster and, no matter what your politics are, what's happening in your own country today shows that.

He also has new "Notes" out and will be working in the studio the next weeks obviously. And you are right about the new section. Can't remember if he had something like that, I believe not, and it would be nonsense to put it up especially these days. I also guess it will be filled with dates soon!

I'm looking at it in my phone so I might be wrong as this things are showed different on phones, but to me it doesn't look like a Knopfler section, but the tour dates section, with MK name there as he's the next musician he would go on tour and these are the next dated to be announced...

Actually I think MK was the only artist Bennett went on your for many years, except last year Neil Diamond tour.

Of course, that's just another way of seeing this. However the line " There are no upcoming tour dates" makes no sense for listing Mark Knopfler, in a way. Maybe it is done because he gets asked about it on a daily base!
