From the new Homepage bluesclubband.com, compiled by Guy:
The BluesClub debut album Rollin' and Tumblin' will be released on September 2nd 2011.
Stay tuned to this site over the next few days for info., previews and general stuff...
BluesClub is
William Topley - Vocals
Guy Fletcher - Keys, Steel guitar
Alan Rogan - Fender Bass
Peter Hope-Evans - Harmonica
Danny Cummings - Drums
Robbie McIntosh - Guitars
I like the word "Debut" in Guy's first entry on this page. I am really looking forward to this recording. I thought I could open this thread and we could talk about it when the album is out...
Alan Rogan, never heard of. He is not only playing bass, but Fender bass. Is that some sort of typo or endorsement or does it have a deeper meaning??
When there are more albums to come, at least our beloved Danny Boy will have a future! ;D

Hi LE! I have looked everywhere on Guy's site, but I can't find this new Homepage - can you help with some info? I'm a bit slow..... ::)
-
Hey, Val,
he hasn't put up a link on his page as far as I can see. Someone posted the link in the forum a few days/weeks ago, and I copied it... It is
www.bluesclubband.com (http://www.bluesclubband.com)
It is all in the early stages. But for the next days he announces some news and previews and stuff...

Does anyone still listen to album? I think it’s as fresh as ever and I love the sound.
Having seen them live a few times, I actually think I’d prefer a live Blues Club DVD to a live MK DVD (sorry-I know that won’t be popular). I love the rawness of their sound and how they don’t rehearse before a live show. They could go off in any direction and they all play awesome solos.
Guy recorded a few of the live shows but said they weren’t good enough for release. Shame because they always sounded pretty good as a band to me.

Yes, I still listen to the album and also the BluesClub version of "On The Road Again", which I think is just as good as the Canned Heat version. I have only seen them playing at Pagham and had a great time. :)

I do and I agree with what you wrote, even if I haven't seen them live yet. I'd like a live album too. There are a few videos on YT, quite interesting. This one, for instance…
