Honestly, where have you been the last couple of days? 

It's just that, release date November. If you think of the "two-month-rule" with announcing a new release, it's inevitably November isn't it? Which means we will get some news within the next 14 days. So all is cool!

I have been following this thread since the very beginning, but never had anything to share here.. haha.
I see, makes sense! I just crave for some little information about the album.

Well guys I asked Universal M.Portugal whats the name of the album but they didn´t respond yet!!(and i think they don t tell me more until be oficcial)..I put in here(in the attachments) like i said in the other post i write,the foto(In Portuguese) of my conversation and the answer of the Universal M.Portugal to me saying that the album will be in November!!!cheers to all!!!

Why is nobody talking about this?

It's just that almost everyone had assumed the release would be in November that it didn´t caused much movement... If it would had been an exact date, the album title, or songs etc, we would be talking about it endlessly...

Right, well, not too long now hopefully. Guy's 'soon' will be here someday!

Oh, I don't know. Mark can write and play stuff like that in his sleep. I'm hoping for something a lot more interesting.

I understand what you are getting at; the JJ Cale tribute clip has a touch of that early DS vibe (Six Blade Knife for example), not so strange since Mark obviously was influenced by JJ Cale back then. BUT - Mark and DS took things further, even on the first DS record, and breathed more life into things compared with JJ Cale.

One recent song of Mark's that is somewhat in that vein is Behind With the Rent, which is one of my favorites from KTGC. It is also quite lazy and laidback, but still a lot more interesting and better sounding than the JJ Cale tribute song. To my ears, that is.

By no means I will discuss HERE what anyone has or has not said in another forum. The usage of nicks at AMIT had it's reason remember?
