Excellent idea for starting this thread.    I have a compact  Nikon Digital camera which I plan to bring and hopefully do some recordings. Do you think it will do a sufficient job?  Any suggestions of what recording devices to use?  My shows are coming on Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat next week.

Edirol  makes good digital recorders. There are a few other manufacturers as well.

For cameras,  I like Panasonic LUMIX  Z series.  Latest is Zs20 which has 20X optical zoom, and full HD 1080p recording.
Nikon should be fine,  depends on lighting and what settings you use.
I have a Nikon too, but wasnt happy with low light ability.

Thanks for all the videos. I Used to Could very much compensates for the super boring Miss You Blues. Boy, this song DOES swing! :clap

I thought it was the white Schecter Strat from The Bug when I caught a glimpse last night.  Must have been too tired!

Yes I thought the same at first, but if you're listen to the song again, you will notice that it sounds brighter than other blues tracks like you can't beat the house or hot or what.

Indeed, I also think that all slide parts played by Mark since 2004 (Donnegan's gone) are played on the Danelectro given by Mike Henderson

Getting too sleepy is one of Mark's (few) weaknesses, and this particular song, played live, is a blatant example. There's just nothing happening here after the first couple of cords. Some of the band members must think that way, too. Sometimes I think they should be braver, stand up and say: "Come on, Mark, if we're going to play this song, we need to do something with it. Otherwise, people will start checking they're emails while we play ..."

But that seems to be a problem with both Mark and Dylan: They've successfully surrounded themselves with yeasayers. Most of the time that doesn't hurt, because you want to say "yes" to a lot of Mark's and Bob's ideas. But sometimes, a little skepticism would be more helpful.

Listening Corned Beef City from Saskatoon gig. One of the best performances from Mark and the band over the years. I don't understand if they don't play this version  for upcoming concert.

I don't especially like this song but yes, this version is good.
Have you listened to YTC ? 28 seconds more than the Winipeg concert, fantastic end solo !
