More importantly for me though after 30 years of finding solace in his voice through his music these new songs are like having therapy. All my mundane daily stresses seem to disappear when listening to MK.

Some of the most beautiful words ever said here.
I feel the same.

Beat me to it but some really moving words there Banjo99uk and I concur......

A boring album with several copies of other past songs :

- First notes of Trapper Man = I'm the Fool
- The 4th song = Junkie Doll
- The 16th song = Heart of Oak

Just 3 songs are great (Trapper, Nobody's Child and One Song).

Hm, on my disc the 4th song is Just a boy away from home, and the 16th song is Matchstick Man. Do you have the right cd?  ;)

Not he is comparing them and he is right of course. We already figured that out in other threads did we?
Matchstick Man is great nonetheless.

I agree that there are tons of already known parts/melodies, basically almost the whole album, but they are very well developed/arranged and the overall album is good, not boring at all

Absolutely not boring!    It needed a few listens for me, but now I can just sit back and enjoy!   Incidentally, I am enjoying it more with headphones!    :)

I really have a huge problem: my number 1-5 is now One song at the time.
I do love some other songs, but I listen to One song at the time, another song, again One Song at the time etc.

But a happy listener anyway  :D
