MARK on Jake and Elwood
« on: September 01, 2008, 06:49:54 AM »
The Ragpickers Dream was voted CD of the month of the 2000 decade on Jake and Elwood's blogspot.
Here's the link.  It won't get you to the homepage, but to the page about MK.

It was Pottel who gave me the Google Alerts heads-up to be notified of web mentions of MK.  Some are kind of old, but some are brand new.   I've come across some great items.  Pottel, you might yourself be interested in some of the other picks.

I hadn't tried out "Jake & Elwood" before -- even though I'm originally from Chicago and got married in the building where Jake & Elwood were surrounded and captured at the end -- so thanks for the link.
I highly recommend the Google News Alerts feature. Have used it for probably 5 years now for work and pleasure, and it brings up all sorts of interesting stuff, sometimes so much I don't have time to check it all out.

Where they've got the Picasso? Where the Office of the Assessor of Cook County is?

Dusty, yes, across the street from the Picasso. Am so happy the Blues Brothers immortalized our marriage like that, in our minds at least!
