I'm wondering what this mighty Yamaha GS-1 can do and none of it's successors can't do that makes it worth moving around for use? It weighs a ton! Most likely it's just "let's use it because we can" type of thinking.

Sometimes I look at the list ASCAP ... looking for new tracks ... the result has always been 402 .. From tonight 403 ... someone who knows more than me the discography, can check if there is something new? ???

I'm by no means an aficionado of Mark's discography, (and upon some more searching jbaent's already mentioned at least some of these, probably all of them, I've italicized the ones that I saw he's already mentioned earlier, feel free to ignore those) but I've just had a look through the ascap list and there are a few titles I don't recognize and couldn't find after a quick google search either- I hope that I Didn't, Did You Come, I'll See You Then, I'm Doing Better Now, and Not In the Frame. I checked the ISWC numbers, and I'll See You Then and Did You Come came up as associated with Metroland—I guess they were unused tracks. And from searching on here, it looks like Not In the Frame has been in ascap for a while; it doesn't have a ISWC number and publisher is listed as 'will decide ltd', idk what that's about.

I couldn't find much info on I Hope That I Didn't (under 'other titles' the same title- I Hope That I Didn't- is just listed again, once and then twice; couldn't find it in a search on here either) and I'm Doing Better Now (again under 'other titles' the same title is repeated again; also couldn't find it mentioned on here) though. But I don't know whether they are new or not— might be some other unused score tracks. Mystery to me

I hope we get some more info soon!

Most of the unreleased tracks in ASCAP are from metroland. I did a thread with all that titles:

https://www.amarkintime.org/forum/index.php?topic=6189.0

Actually I did a thread in every MK solo album threads in AMIT with the titles from ASCAP of the unreleased songs.

I think this is the list we should be watching:

https://www.ascap.com/repertory#ace/works/publisher/76954/WILL%20D%20SIDE%20LTD

72 songs published by Will D Side. All from the latest albums. I think the 72 will go up to 85-90 or something when the new songs are added...

GF:

There have been many synths used on the new album, including the mighty Yamaha GS-1. Local Hero has a much more limited soundscape synth-wise.

Oh, no! We were waiting for news all the time, and now we get BAD news! I fear the worst, hearing songs like Coyote or Do America in my mind ... :hmm

Actually synths are good news. Most of the DS stuff since 1982 has plenty of synths, and also most of the MK solo albums too...
