also lyric prompter in front of him this tour, I think ,( saw in Barcelona ) , (hes had two of them the last 2 concerts), I know young guns have one ,such as joe bonamassa  have a too que you with lyics, from back of stage its shining blue from what I can see from clips, but if he needs fair does

Still had a small blip on Bacon Roll tonight at the last verse.  He also said "treacherous load" instead of "hazardous load" on OES.  Probably deliberate though.

I have to say if this is pretty much how it's going to be for the rest of the tour, I'm starting NOT to regret I didn't get a ticket. I'd love to hear Once Upon A Time, Silvertown and Bacon Roll live, but I don't think the shows on the whole are that much different or better than the Tracker shows. I'll get a couple of downloads down the line.

Oh I'm pleased personally I'm doing two smaller concerts but I have this tour left out the RAH shows. I do however have lovely memories of the master playing the RAH throughout the years and especially front row seats in front of him...

100% Strat instrumental and no for the trumpet....

My theory is I wonder if he struggles playing the Strat now, I mean the neck on the Gibsons are slightly 'fatter'

And shorter neck. Less string tension. The Telegraph Pensa has the same short neck as a Gibson, though.

True, very true...

Some of you really need to be ashamed of yourselves. Mark has given his fans all he has got for over 4 decades. Now he is saying his goodbyes and all you van do is whine.  This man deserves a standing ovation each night and nothing less.

Sorry, but this is not a good set.  Barcelona was mainly interesting because of Once Upon a Time and Silvertown, however there are many reasons why this isn't good and why it could easily be so much better.

1.  TR must be maintained because it is the only song majestic/epic/monumental (call it what you will) enough to finish the concert with aplomb.  ToL would do it but he won't play that either.

2.  He's missing out on playing the best songs from the new album such as OSAAT.

3.  The set lacks pace in the first half after CBC.

Played well?  Yes, the band did but Mark is no longer the star attraction; he merely shares the stage with the other musicians now.  TR was his showcase.  If this is his final tour what a bitterly disappointing legacy to leave.
