The guy is a jerk. Everytime I read that he has ways to prove his allegations, I slilently shout "so show it or forever shut up".

I rather think that by giving this guy a response we are only giving him what he wants;  this is probably his "hit," if you like and the best way to deal with the situation is to not give the man another thought.

In general, if abstract away from particulars, all this crap is nothing else but the reverse of the medal of popularity.

But I came with the good news, a little bird told me  8) that every psychiatrist knows the simple truth, which states that the paranoid delusion is not subject to any overpersuasion.

Although I agree with your intentions and have sympathy for your initiative, I'd forget, firstly because a lifetime would not be enough to fight all the lies and the rubbish that can be found on the internet and secondly because there are people paid a lot of money to protect the name and the rights of Mark. Indifference and anonymity, in my opinion, are the best ways to hurt a clown like this

I must say this guy's blog is priceless but he did say something that rang true with me:

"What on earth was Guy Fletcher thinking when he commented on his blog, that he would be glad to see the end of the Dire Straits fans going to the Mark Knopfler gigs.

Those fans are the very reason he is still standing on a stage and still getting paid for it, so Guy get a grip mate before you get some foul thing thrown at you, or get back to sorting bikes."

 :lol

So he does go to the gigs then...

LE

It was on his forum about 2 or 3 months ago now.  Maybe someone with a memory can give a more precise answer!

Well, I found it:

"Thanks Hazel, yes the die-hards are disappearing fast, thank goodness." was what he said to Hazel. And this is a part of the question:

"Doc, you said in one of your early diary entries for the European tour that audiences had evolved along with the band, and I believe that

I bet this 'strange' character (a typical 'Rudiger' by what he writes) would love the thought of him causing a bit of friction on this the wonderful MK forum!!

How about we close this thread and move on to more interesting items?!

I will not have anything said about Guy personally!
