It has been reported by Guy that there are/were issues with the bass sound - and if you listen to the Eugene bootleg it is very noticeable. Also the vocals aren't very high in the mix on some tracks but this could be the recording equipment.

And is it me or does the drumming of DC sound less powerful during Speedway at Eugene than it used to be?

Sorry.  It's so easy to just forget oneself.  I think at least one of these was more than expected anyway. :-[

Sure, no problem for me as I'm on the darker side!  :P
And you're right, these songs are to be expected.

Yeah yeah, make fun of me...  >:(  ;D
Well since it seems like I was the only one on the dark side, it doesn't matter anymore anyway I guess  :P

I have a general question, just listened to some live songs... So... Spoiler (just in case)

What's up with SOS? Is it the new Walk Of Life? Is it just me or is it getting slower and slower with every tour?

Maybe it's just that the rest of the show is more uptempo that it makes it sound slower? ; ;) ;D

My opinion too, SOS is going slower every tour.  :(

Maybe to allow MK to still do the fast 'fiddly' bits in the end solo.

Maybe, but if he does a mistake it's surely more noticable?  He mucked it up at the Mandela concert but it didn't sound too bad because it was faster and he improvised a little too in part of it.

Most of the bad sound in Santa Rosa came from the woman who must have had a sore throat after all those screams during the concert, and from the woman who sat next to me who had to announce the name of every song in the first few notes.    She stopped after she announced Speedway as TR, then commented, Oh, I got it wrong.    :lol
Bass was heavy for me.     It seemed that on Get Lucky, all of a sudden heavy reverberation was added.     But I'm not complaining about the sound.   The lovely ladies are distracting on my recording and I wish I had a way to reduce the reverberation, but that's what you get in an indoor hall.
But a spoonful of forgiveness
Goes a long, long way
And we all should do our best
To get along
